MKW can offer a customized solution for in store advertizing and point of purchase materials that usually, due to the complex nature of the collating sequence, could only be gathered by hand. Since 2005 we have experience of taking external data and using it to create personalized collating sequences.
The MKW POPi Collator is one of the most sophisticated collators with complete traceability of every pack throughout every process of the machine via the collator HMI panel; this gives you 100% assurance that your customer receives the correct contents in their pack. Control of the Domino Print Apply Thermal Printer is via the built in Domino HMI which is also integrated to the collator HMI. Label re-prints can be ordered via the collator HMi too. A truly integrated high performance collating system to minimize operator down time.
We can use your current job data in various formats and use it to control the gathering sequence on the MKW collating system, it is even possible to use a 2D or Barcode code system to read a master sheet that in turn instructs individual pockets to feed. With in line real-time verification systems and optional friction feeders we can put together a solution that is both versatile and highly efficient.
MKW can offer just the POPi collator or a complete turnkey package including; the collator, inkjet or thermal labelling, data transfer, servo driven interface device to bagging or boxing equipment.

In-line Bagging
MKW’s chosen partner for bagging is the renowned German manufacturer, Kallfass. The Universa machine is available in several different formats and can run film to suit your needs and can also interface with a heat tunnel for heat shrinking. Kallfass are fully supported within North America by a dealer network.
In-Line Labeling
It is usual to need to identify each pack of collated POP materials and to do this MKW use the Domino Thermal M Series Printer. Fully integrated into the MKW collator controls system the Domino printer can handle rapid changes of data required when performing selective smart collating.
Laser Scanning
It is imperative that your customer receives the correct items and to give you peace of mind MKW use various 2D and Barcode scanners to verify the packs prior to the package leaving the POP collator.
Data Driven
Every POP kitting job can be driven by your Data to produce personalized kits and to also produce personalized labels for each bag. The MKW POP collator can either run a predefined sequence driven by a pick list generated by your in house management software or we can use a pre-printed sheet with a 2D or Barcode reading in real-time to tell the machine which pockets to run.
Maintenance & Support
PPS hold a stock of MKW common spares within the USA and for any parts not in stock we can guarantee that MKW will ship these to you directly, often arriving within 2-3 days.
On the rare occasion you might need technical support PPS offer 24/7 telephone and email support. We also have factory trained techs as well as a national network of independent technicians. If you have your own in house technicians then PPS can offer additional training to them during the installation or they are welcome to travel to MKW to attend an in-house factory training program.
On some models the machines can be connected by VPN for remote diagnostics and software upgrades.
